Craddle STEAM Education Trust is a community-driven non-governmental organization committed to expanding access to quality education for children from low-income households across Africa. We believe that every child, regardless of socio-economic background, deserves the opportunity to develop their talents, pursue their aspirations, and contribute meaningfully to society.
Across many African communities, millions of children face systemic barriers to education, including poverty, limited resources, and inadequate exposure to the tools required to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world. When these barriers persist, they not only restrict individual potential but also limit the social and economic progress of entire communities. Craddle SET was founded to address this challenge by ensuring that talent and curiosity, rather than circumstance, determine a child’s future.

We envision an Africa where every child, regardless of socio-economic background, possesses the literacy, numeracy, digital fluency, and creative confidence needed to transform local challenges into global opportunities and contribute meaningfully to society.
At the center of our approach is STEAM education—Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, which equips young learners with the critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities required in the modern world. By integrating technical knowledge with creativity, STEAM learning encourages students to think across disciplines, explore ideas, and develop practical solutions to real-world challenges.
Craddle’s programs address both the financial and developmental barriers that prevent many children from fully participating in education. Through initiatives such as the Primary Education Scholarship Programme, we support pupils from low-income households by covering essential school-related expenses and providing learning materials that enable them to remain in school and succeed academically.
Beyond direct educational support, Craddle works closely with parents, educators, schools, and community leaders to create environments where learning can flourish. At the heart of our philosophy is a commitment to empowerment rather than dependency.
